More than 36 kids die in hot cars every year. In order to create awareness and prevent heatstrokes in car to keep happening, Toyota evolved the traditional "Baby on Board" sticker into a thermochromic one. It turns red with dangerously high temperatures revealing a warning message and a call to action.
That way pedestrians will be aware not only of the potential presence of kids inside a car but also the unsafe heat.
